Estraeah slowly approaches the pond. It seems to be about two feet deep at its lowest point. There is a complete lack of plantlife on either the surface or in its depths, as if it were just filled in.
She eyes Klaus warily. "The water, did it seem normal?"
His eyes dart between her and the pond. "What, you don't think it'll kill me do you? I just poured that all over my face! And drank it!"
Estraeah shrugs, crouching down next to it. Hesitantly, she reaches out and touches the surface of the water. It is cold. She brings some to her face and inhales, trying to detect any potential chemicals, but it is odorless. It seems to just be regular water, but she won't be drinking any just in case. How odd.
The wind is absent here, and the lack of swaying trees and rustling leaves brings an eerie silence. Tweeting birds and other animals are distant, the crunch of the pebbles under their feet nearly drowning them out.
Klaus raises an eyebrow at her. "What are you doing?"
"Shh! I am investigating the scene. I have never seen this area before."
He rolls his eyes. "Okay, and are you done now?"
Yes, Estraeah believes that is sufficient. There does not seem to be much else to look at.
