The well-worn path feels oh so familiar beneath Estraeah's sandaled feet as she ambles her way along, no destination or intention in mind. The familiarity of it calms her, the sense of adventure she gains from exploring the untamed forest separating her mind from the monotony of daily life.
However, today brings unfamiliarity as well, an unknown element that causes her stomach to twist in uneasiness. The sounds of moving water, splashes, and laughter drift through the forest, a seemingly normal occurrence save for one crucial detail: Estraeah has explored this part of the forest thoroughly, and she has never seen a hint of water.
